Generally, people are good. And smart. And acting in a totally reasonable way. Most of the time, when you dive in deeper, what you’ll find is that you were lacking their perspective. And had you known what they knew, or seen what they saw, you too might have ended up with their opinion.

So much of what the broad Christian church preaches is a simplification. But that doesn’t mean that the truth itself or Jesus is also.

When I’m on the cusp of breaking through a bastard of a copywriting or design problem, I put on this album. It creates just the right blend of motivation and urgency that makes me want to figure it out (whatever “it” is) before the song reaches the peak and ends.

The Real Monsters are reborn!

Upon getting so much attention for my previous designs, I wanted to redesign the monsters and develop the concept a little more. You’ll notice most of the monsters have subtle alterations and the descriptions have been changed to better reflect my original concepts.

Over the coming weeks I will release more (never seen before) monsters and will also release concept sketches and developmental work for each monster shown here- So stay tuned! (They may also be little animations…)

Disclaimer: The artwork is not at all intended to make light of these conditions but instead is intended to give these intangible mental illnesses some substance and make them appear more managable as physical entities.

The sun between the city buildings was at just the right angle to refract off the glass edges on this bus shelter in order to create this rainbow. In one sense, all of existence thus far has been leading to this one, glorious moment, waiting to be captured and shared on Instagram and Tumblr… And now that that’s done, well bring on the end times.

- I would love to live to see a time when we had an option on death. It’s fascinating to imagine how that would affect life choices and even value patterns that I take for granted simply because mortality is (currently) a certainty.

- If you replace “sit down and put words together” with pretty much any worthwhile endeavour, then the same thing applies. Discipline is everything.
