Dream noise. I don't know how this album isn't more popular tbh, to me it's simply one of their best in a every album is the best kind of catalogue.

In spite of the title, this is NOT Boris making a noise record. They leave that to their friend Merzbow, who is admittedly better suited for that kind of thing. Instead, what we have here may very well be the most quintessential distillation of all of Boris’s influences. It’s sludgy, it’s post-rock, it’s psychedelic (albeit subtlety), and there’s a pinch of J-Pop in there for added flavor. As albums go, it’s pretty much the best introduction to the band that I can think of.
