A Card using the NEW Fall Harvest Junk Journal Digital Papers

I love working with papers.  Digital papers are even more fun. Why you ask?  Well, for one I can reprint my papers over and over.  Better I can resize images.  Fuzzy cutting is very relaxing to me. I can sit for hours and cut away.  Today I am sharing a card created with a stenciled master board, stamps and the FALLHARVEST Junk Journal Papercrafts Digital Papers!

Blank Page Muse Digi Paper and Stamps Used:
Digital Download Print at Home FALL HARVEST Junk Journal Papercrafts Paper Pack
Grunge Backgrounds #2, Texture stamps, wet cement, pattern
Vintage style Postcards background Art Rubber Stamps TTS114-01 - Blank Page Muse Art Rubber Stamps
Fantasy Flourish Stencil

Other Products Used
Tim Holtz Distress Vintage Photo ink
Blending brush
Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Glitter Paste-Graceful Mustard
Spatula
Tim Holtz Distress Spray Lost Shadow
Cosmic Shimmer Airless Spray Amber Lights
Master Board made with scrap paper on Watercolor paper
Gold wide tip Sharpie

To start create a masterboard. Use watercolor paper or other mixed media paper for the base.  Glue scraps of paper to the base.  Add washi tape if desired. Make sure all edges are secure.

Pictured is the master board. It is on watercolor paper.  There are scraps from decorative bags, scraps of pattern cardstock and washi tape.

Apply Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Glitter Paste-Graceful Mustard using the Blank Page Muse Fantasy Flourish Stencil.   Let it dry. This adds a nice background texture.

Prepare images to use on projects.  Fussy cut what you would like to use.  resize some of the papers before printing if desired

Grunge Backgrounds #2, Texture stamp and the Vintage style Postcards background Art Rubber Stamp Add a little distress stamping to the images.

Pictured are the fussy cut images used for this card. The dress with wings. the dress with one pumpkin, card with sunflower, two partial sunflowers, tow resized pumpkins.

First adhere the dress with wings and the large sunflower directly behind the neck of the dress... With dimensional foam adhere the dress without wings to the dress with wings. Thes creates a 3D effect. Tuck the sunflower card under the right side of the dress without wings. Place the two pumpkins, with dimensional foam on half of the pumpkins not attached to the dress and a touch of glue where they are touching the dress.  Tuck the small partial sunflower behind the pumpkin on the left.

I encourage you to download some digital papers and create with them.  I print my images on a mate photo paper.

Edgar Allan Poe Steampunk Easel Card

Two things I love are Steampunk and Edgar Allan Poe. Blank Page Muse actually has two different size Edgar Allan Poe stamps of the image I used on my card today. For my project I used the larger of the two. All the papers and printed images are from the digital printable papers, Steampunk Romance.  What is great about using digital papers is sizing.  You can manipulate the size of the papers and images with your computer.

Stamps from Blank Page Muse used on this card

Other Supplies:
Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs Ink
Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink
Tissue paper
Wide tip black Sharpie
Dimensional foam and double-sided adhesive

Print the digital printable papers, Steampunk Romance. paper to the desired size and fussy cut the flowers.  I made the flower 3 different sizes.

I stamped the pen nib image with VersaFine Black Onyx directly on the card mat base. Also, stamped the postage stamp randomly on the mat, each time I inked the stamp I would stamp off before stamping directly on the mat. I stamp the ink bottle and fussy cut.

On a another piece of the patten papers from the Steampunk Romance collection I stamped Edgar Allan Poe, then masked him off with tissue paper and then stamped the Steampunk Watch Face Rubber Stamp, behind his head.

I work on a big piece of tissue.  the tissue image of the pen nibs I used on the card. I carefully torn them from the large sheet.
Before adhering the mat to the base of the easel, edge the card mat and the paper with the stamped image of Edgar Allan Poe with a wide tip black Sharpie or other acrylic pen. If you desire ink fussy cut edges with Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs Ink or similar color.

To assemble attach the paper with the stamped image of Edgar Allan Poe first. This will over lap the first five of the stamped images of the pen nibs. Adhere the first five tissue stamped pen nibs directly over the pen nibs stamped on the card mat.
Adhere the corner flower paper to the upper left of the card. For dimension add a large flower the same size over the flower. Tuck a smaller flower under the lower left of the large flower.

With dimensional foam attach the ink bottle and three additional flowers as pictured.

Add a strip of paper to the bottom of the inside with dimensional foam to create a stopper when opening the card.  Add fussy cut flowers to the stopper.

Hope this inspires you to try the Blank Page Muse digital papers found HERE

Holly, Jolly St. Nick Card by Maria Giselle

Hello! It is Christmas Eve for us here in the U.S. One Christmas tradition especially for children is to track Santa Claus, also known as St. Nick, as he travels the world delivering presents. This is a Santa Claus inspired card. I hope you like it.

I inked the Santa Claus stamp from the Blank Page Muse Country Vintage Christmas Rubber Art Stamps Sheet on a white cardstock using red ink.

I heat set the stamped image to speed dry it before I colored it.

I used red alcohol markers in coloring the image.

It did not take a lot of time to color the image.

I need a placement guide for the Dear Santa stamp since I will be creating a word background. I stamped the sentiment on a see through plastic using a stamp positioner.

A limitation of the rubber stamp is you can't see where you are actually stamping the image. A stamp positioner helped solve this problem. I placed the see through plastic with the stamped sentiment over the cardstock where I want to stamp the sentiment. I butt the stamp positioner tool to the corner of the see through plastic.

Leaving the stamp positioner and the cardstock in place, I gently lifted the see through plastic. I butted the acrylic block with the rubber stamp to the stamp positioner and stamped the inked sentiment to the cardstock. I kept repeating this process until I filled the front of the card with this sentiment.

If you notice, I masked a part of the panel with a paper cut with a scalloped circle die. This is where the focal point will be adhered. You don't need to mask this area since it will be covered anyway by the focal image.

I die cut the colored Santa Claus image using a scalloped circle die.

I die cut a red cardstock with the same scalloped die.

To create this into a frame, I used a circle die larger than the scalloped window.

I created a mask of Santa Claus by stamping the image on a thin paper, then fussy cutting it. I am actually using one of the stamped impressions that I made a mistake on.

I covered the stamped Santa on the scalloped piece with this mask.

I placed a stencil over the scalloped piece and blended a gray dye ink over the stencil to add some snow details on the back of Santa. I used the same gray ink I used for the sentiment background.

I continued to blend more ink around Santa to mute the white background.

I pieced this stamped scalloped piece on the frame securing the pieces together by taping the pieces on the back.

I adhered the focal point to the stamped background panel.

I added shimmer to Santa's hat using the pigment from a shimmer pen. You can paint straight to your project with the shimmer pen but my pen sometimes releases blobs of ink which ruins my project. So what I do is put the ink on a palette and pick it up with a paint brush to apply it to my project.

Let me greet you in behalf of the Blank Page Muse & I Brake For Stamps DT, a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
