Two Hearts One Love

Hi Blank Page Muse Fans!

Hope everyone had a fab day yesterday for Xmas - maybe some of you are still celebrating???

I decided to finish the year off with a creation not related to Xmas but perhaps new beginnings for 2020

This is a great card for making up quickly - perfect for an engagement or wedding - nice and romantic!

Supplies:
Pre Cut Patterned Window Card OR Make Your Own with Patterned Card and a Square Punch
Cream Coloured Card
Black Archival Ink
Embellishments
Scissors, double sided tape, glue

Instructions:
Start by stamping your BPM stamps onto some cream coloured card with black archival ink and fussy cut the birds and bird cage. The phrase will be placed behind the card front window so stamp onto a piece or card large enough to fit behind the window.

Use double sided tape to attach the phrase behind the card front window. Arrange the other stamps and your embellishments on the card front and adhere.

A perfect card which you can adapt to suit any occasion!

Thanks for joining me today!

Wishing you all a very festive season and a happy new year which is just around the corner!

Happy stamping!

Sharon

A Handwritten Card - Is that still a "THING"???

Hi Blank Page Muse Stamps Fans!

I'm happy to be back for another term on the DT here at Blank Page Muse Stamps and getting to enjoy more rubber stamping FUN with you all!!!!!
Hope you enjoy everyone's creations and the new stamps you will be able to see in use!!

Today I am sharing an idea for a stationary set with a monochrome theme that is quick and easy to make but very classy and would make a lovely gift for someone who still loves to handwrite letters and use the postal system!

Supplies:
Card & Envelope Set in Silver Grey (make your own set or use a purchased set)
Note: any colour stationery will work if you have a similar shade of embossing powder!
Embossing Ink & Fine Silver Embossing Powder
Heat Gun
Silver ribbon or raffia to "wrap" your set to use as a gift (optional)
Instructions:

Using a range of the stamps from the "Correspondence" set stamp your envelopes and folded cards with embossing ink.
Sprinkle with your silver embossing powder and emboss with your heat gun.
You can also emboss plain paper to fit envelopes when folded for a more "letter" style of stationery. the possibilities are endless!

If using your set as a gift arrange your embossed cards and matching envelopes into a pile and tie/secure with silver cord or raffia. you can even make a little matching tag to finish the gift.

Thanks for joining me today - hope you feel inspired!
Happy stamping!
Sharon

Monochome Artist Trading Coins

Hello Ladies,
Glad you could stop by and check out my Artist Trading Coins. These little 2.5" cuties are a lot of fun to make and rather addicting. I created a monochomatic trio each featuring a different color.
Back Ground Grunge

Soulful Dolls Art Rubber Stamps

Art Journaling Mixed Media Stamps Set 1
Other Supplies:
  • black & white cardstock
  • black ink pad
  • watercolors
  • paint brush
  • circle paper punch 2.5"
  • heart paper punch
  • clear dimensional paint
 Directions:
1. Punch 3 circles with white cardstock a 2.5" paper punch. Use black ink to stamp the interlocking rectangle background stamp.

2. Use black ink to stamp a chevron arrow across part of the circle.

3. Use ink or watercolor paint to add color to selected rectangles. Apply water to create various shades of the same color. Each circle will be monochrome/ombre and feature shades of one color.

4. Add a focus word by using black ink.

5. Finally, use clear dimensional paint to highlight a random selection of the background rectangles, as well as, the hearts.  Use a paper punch to cut some small hearts from black cardstock and embellish each ATC.

Background Stamping!

Hi Fans!
A quick ideas "idea" LOL!!
Sometimes a subtle use of a stamp is all that you might want on your work and not to have the stamp as the main focus point of your creation - but that doesn't mean that you have to ignore your large range of Sin City Stamps!!!
I have several examples to share where the only stamping is lightly in the background between the textured stenciling but it just finishes off the pages perfectly.
Stamps used are from the following set:

I think the text stamp works well with this double page spread. I wanted a Steampunk feel to match the collage woman and the circle texture/stencil matches the elements on her hat. The text stamp ties in the old book pages on the left hand side of the layout!

And a different look:

I used the brick wall look stamp for this double page spread - I think it ties in with stencil and texture paste I used over the white background. This was a fun page with a bit of humor and the grungy wall with the vintage style boy all works well together!

Hope you might have some fun combining your Sin City Stamps with your other favorite elements!

Happy Stamping!

Sharon

PS. Remember to join us at our Facebook Group for lots of fun and creativity - it's a great place to share your Sin City creations - we love to get inspiration from everyone who is creating with these great stamps!!
