Two Romantic Hearts xxx

 Hi BPM Fans!

Here we are approaching the end of another month! I hope you have been enjoying our month of "Romance" and have felt inspired by the DT creations!

Today I am sharing an idea for a romantic card - perfect for lots of occasions depending on what sentiment you use! Always great to have an idea for any occasion cards using the same stamp!

Supplies:
Blank Page Muse Stamp: Vintage Style Dancing Couple
Blank Page Muse Stamp: Heart from Scribble Hearts & Elements Set designed by Pam Bray
Blank Page Muse Stamp: Two Hearts One Love Phrase
Blank Page Muse Stencil: Hearts and Broken Hearts designed by Stephanie Eaton
Base Card
Card front covered with ink stained paper towel OR Patterned Paper
White Paint
Stamp Pad & Scrap Card
Glue or double sided tape, spatula and scissors
Embellishments

Instructions:
Cover your card front with paper towel. I use the paper towel I have blotted excess ink sprays with. Alternatively use patterned paper or gelli prints cut to slightly smaller than your base card front. Use your stencil, white paint and a spatula to apply the stencil design randomly over the card front. Allow to dry.

Stamp your BPM stamps onto the scrap card using your choice of ink colour and your choice of card stock colour. I have chosen kraft card and a red ink pad to co-ordinate with my paper towel background. Have fun with different coloured inks for your main images no need to stick to just black! Fussy cut your stamped images.

Adhere the hearts, vintage couple and wording along with any embellishments to the card front.

This card works well with any romantic wording/phrase stamps. Perfect for a wedding or engagement card or for your valentine/special person!

Happy stamping and creating and thank you for joining me again today!

Vintage Slim Romantic Card

Greetings!  Today I am excited to share my tag I created to go along with this month's challenge  theme at Blank Page Muse which is ROMANCE! I admit I was inspired by all the vintage goodness that was created for last month's challenge.  I also decided to hop on the slim line card trend and make this card slim!

To recreate this card you will need:

Other Supplies - Distress Inks, Water Color Markers (to stamp images), Card stock, Tag, patterned paper, and ribbon

Start by creating your slim card.  Cut a piece of white card stock to 7 x 8 1/2 inches.  Score and fold to create a 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch card. Cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller than your card base and adhere to your card.

Using Blank Page Muse Rose Flower with Leaves Art Rubber Stamp by Terri Sproul, color stamp with markers and stamp repeatedly onto your tag.

I just love the vintage look of this tag!  Stamp Blank Page Muse LOVE Fancy Word Art Rubber Stamp Small onto bottom of your tag.   Mat your tag onto cardstock.

Add matted tag to your card and finish with a satin-y ribbon to complete that vintage look!

Two Hearts One Love

Hi Blank Page Muse Fans!

Hope everyone had a fab day yesterday for Xmas - maybe some of you are still celebrating???

I decided to finish the year off with a creation not related to Xmas but perhaps new beginnings for 2020

This is a great card for making up quickly - perfect for an engagement or wedding - nice and romantic!

Supplies:
Pre Cut Patterned Window Card OR Make Your Own with Patterned Card and a Square Punch
Cream Coloured Card
Black Archival Ink
Embellishments
Scissors, double sided tape, glue

Instructions:
Start by stamping your BPM stamps onto some cream coloured card with black archival ink and fussy cut the birds and bird cage. The phrase will be placed behind the card front window so stamp onto a piece or card large enough to fit behind the window.

Use double sided tape to attach the phrase behind the card front window. Arrange the other stamps and your embellishments on the card front and adhere.

A perfect card which you can adapt to suit any occasion!

Thanks for joining me today!

Wishing you all a very festive season and a happy new year which is just around the corner!

Happy stamping!

Sharon

Love Birds

Tis the season of Love!  This month the BPM crew was challenged to create valentines day cards or to add dimensions to our project.  I decided to do both!  I have been eyeing these window cards for a while and decided to try my hand at one.

Blank Page Muse Supplies

Other Supplies
Clear and gold embossing powder
Embossing ink
Archival ink
Card stock
Yarn
Nested Circle Dies
2 square card bases

*Extra for bonus project - chipboard greeting and card base.

Start  by die cutting nested circle dies from both card bases with the largest circle on the top/front of the card and decreasing the circle size as you move inside the card.

Below you can see how the the nesting looks putting 1 card inside the other.

Cut black and red card stock square to fit card base.  I stamped the card stock first then cut with the nested circles, but you could do die cut the card stock then stamp.

Stamp Lady & Man Clock with Writing Art Rubber Stamp onto card stock and mat on black card stock. Adhere to inside back of  card.  insuring stamping image will be centered in smallest circle.

Stamp and emboss  roses, clocks and hearts onto card stock to create insides of cards.

Adhere stamped card stock inside card bases and die cut nested circles as shown. (save the cut outs to complete the bonus project below!)

Adhere the card stock to front of card die cutting nested circle.  Stamp Love Birds Word Art onto front. Place one card base inside the other and tie cards together to finish.

*BONUS!*  USE YOUR SCRAPS PROJECT

Adhere stamped and embossing bested die cuts onto card base.  Doodle stitches and add chipboard greeting!

I hope this project inspires you to get stamping!

Two Hearts, One Love

Hi Blank Page Muse Fans!
Today I am sharing a vintage style romance tag using the theme of the current challenge "Blue/Heart/Time" - perfect stamps at the Store!!!!!!!
All the supplies and step by step instructions are below - hope you get inspired!!!

Supplies:
  • Blank Page Muse: Romance Stamp Set
  • Tag: size used for this project 12cm x 6cm
  • Blue coloured ink pads
  • Scrap white card
  • Plain coloured ribbon/binding
  • Blue Posca Pen & Water Soluble Crayon & Distress Stain
  • Heart charm
  • Scrap muslin
  • General tools: scissors, glue, mounting tape, sponge
Instructions:
Start with colouring the background using a sponge and a few shades of blue and/or grey stamp pads. Hint: a good way to get the very last bit of ink out of your old pads!

Use a dark blue ink pad to stamp the "Love" poem all over the background of the tag - stamp multiple times with the one ink application to get varying shades of the writing.

Edge the tag with the blue Posca Pen.

Sponge your scrap of card with the lighter blue inks.

And then stamp the "vintage couple" from the Romance Stamp Set along with the "Two Hearts One Love" phrase also using the dark blue ink pad. Fussy cut the images and add mounting tape to the backs. Add a blue border with the Posca pen to the two hearts phrase.

Next step is to "stain" your ribbon/binding with the pale blue Distress Stain. The sponge tops on these stains make it quick, easy and not too messy to cover both sides of the ribbon.

Once again using the dark blue ink pad, stamp the "Two Hearts" phrase randomly along the ribbon.

Lastly put all the elements together. Draw/smudge a line at the bottom of the tag with the water soluble crayon for the couple to "stand on" and glue a tiny piece of muslin cloth to one side. Add the mounted stamped images. Tie the ribbon at the top and trim to desired length. Glue the heart charm to the top.
Hope you have enjoyed this tag tutorial!
We hope you are joining in with the current blog challenge - you still have time to play along!
Stay tuned to the blog for more DT inspiration - we all love creating with our Blank Page Muse stamps!
See you next month!
