Beachy Stamped Summer Card

Hello friends! It's Teri from Teris Mailbox. I am here posting a summer beach scene card!

This card started with distress ink blending. So much fun! I used Tumbled Glass on the top and Tea Dye on the bottom for sand! I angled it down from the left to appear like a sand dune.

The bush from the Pam Bray Fall Rubber Stamp Sheet set was perfect for the scene I imagined! I stamped it in Walnut Stain Distress ink and added Clear embossing powder. Prior to heat setting, I rubbed the powder off the birdie as I knew I wanted to color him blue for contrast.

I thought the stamp with the sentiment A Little Birdie Told Me...was perfect for the bottom of the card.

Last step was to trim the piece to allow some of the Kraft Cardstock to show. The twine just adds more texture and interest!

I hope you enjoyed my post. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'd love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!

Watercolored Beach Greeting Card

Summer Greetings!   Today I am excited to share this beach-y watercolor greeting I created with distress inks.   The Sentiment I used is to remind myself and the person I was making the card for to take time to get away during these trying times. Even if the get away is only to your own garden.

Beach Tote

Hello! Kelly here today with a quick tip on making those plain grocery bags into something spectacular!!

I don't know about you, but I have lots of those reusable totes for groceries, the beach, and shopping in general. You know the ones, they usually have a big logo on one side and are made of plastic but are reusable. Well, I was headed to the beach the other day and I was looking for a tote to put all of the towels into when I came across one with pink palm trees all over it...now I am not sure where I got this one, it doesn't have the store logo on it but it did need a make-over!! Here is what it looked like...not the prettiest bag I have ever seen but I thought I could make it work with some stamps and ink!

So with that thought, I pulled out my Stazon Inks and the following stamps -

Just stamp the images onto the tote with Stazon and let dry for a few minutes, your tote is now ready for the beach.

Stazon ink can be used on many items such as hard plastic, fabric, shrink plastic, cellophane, glass, leather, metal, and more!!

Daisy and Sunflower Summer Cards

Hello! Kelly here, hope everyone is enjoying summer! In Michigan, it has finally arrived and we hope it stays for a bit. I thought I would make a few summery cards today.

First up, is the Happy Birthday Daisy Card using Blank Page Muse stamps – Script stamp from the Correspondence Ink and Pens set, the Doodled Flower stamp and the sentiment Happy Birthday!

Using acrylic paint and your finger cover a piece of white cardstock with three colors of paint, over stamp with the script stamp, and then using the flower stamp and heat embossing powder, stamp the flower randomly over the card. Take the sentiment stamp and heat embossing powder for black card stock to create the sentiment, attach to the card front with foam tape. Attach the whole card front to black cardstock then a white card base.

The purple daisy and yellow sunflower cards backgrounds were made by smooshing inks onto watercolor paper and then assembled in the same way as the above card.

The card below used the small Sunflower Stamp by Pam Bray Designs.

Three very easy ways to create quick cards for birthday celebrations!
