I wrote this during some turbulence in my life. A child horribly sick a move across the country yet again, a failing marriage that I became honest enough in to ask for a divorce, political turmoil, age, etc. I loved the work I was provided by my good folks KILLVONGARD and Fines Double gave me…it pushed me outside what people came to expect, it was more rooted in the poetry I love writing and the experimentation I’ve longed for.

The truth is, I’ve held onto this for 2yrs second guessing, worrying that I had waited too long after “Second Hand Accounts” and “Curses” had dropped. I worried it wasn’t another record with my most cohesive collaboration partner in Messiah Musik and people wouldn’t like it. I’ve worried too much. I’ve sent it to friends/peers with some positive feedback, and unfortunately zero feedback after which didn’t help my anxiety around releasing it so…. Here it is…roughly mixed, unmastered, in its raw form.

The release is a pay what you want.

This is the last Bloodmoney Perez album. Thank you for everything.
