1996 GT Mach Two
Cool aluminum limited production run GT
I sold this bike before I had a chance to restore it for only $100 when I was moving a few years ago (major regret). The bottom bracket had a crack about halfway through it which I think was common with these, but I wish I woulda kept it for parts.
This bike was super light and had a really beautiful aluminum frame with big beefy welds, kinda reminded me of a speed series or Powerlite of that era. I always wondered why GT only produced this bike for a couple years and if that made it any more collectible... Thoughts?
The bike seemed mostly all original stock except for a Powerlite stem and Bell grips. I swapped the original GT hub wheels with the Skyways from a Dyno I had.
