1988 Redline RL-20II

I got this in 2012 off Ebay. It was a complete ride-able bike. But, it wasn't a "Survivor". Nor, was it a quality restoration. As a matter of fact, it was a poorly done disaster. I got hosed on it by one of our fellow nameless, faceless Museumites. Obviously that person was trying to pass this and themselves off as quality and legitimate BMX enthusiasts. Some people have no scruples...

Word to the wise! Pictures are worth a thousand words. Sometimes those words are "Liar, Liar Pants on Fire!" LOL!

Here's a little Easter Egg Hunt for you fellow Museumites. The Bike is actually pictured, here on the Museum in it's original condition, in that members list of bikes. Happy Hunting.  

That aside, I sold off most of the parts to make back some money so I could invest in a quality restoration. Being that the bike was in bad shape. I decided to go for another "Resto-Mod" rather than a true restoration. As usual, I put together a list of quality NOS and Mid to New School parts for the eventual rebuild.

I had Chip at C4 powder the Frame, Forklifter Freestyle Bars and 6 bolt Stem. He also took a set of my Pro-Styler Forks and pressed in a longer Steer Tube and then sent them out to be re-chromed.
