For this assignment I had to use black and white forms to create an asymmetrical design. I played with this for a while getting the details the way I wanted but I came up with the general layout pretty quickly. I really like the way the more organic and flowing circles counter balance the rigid straight lines on the other side. For Pa-i-ka, a graphic design studio based in Seoul, the act of designing revolves around tapping into certain themes. This is the example of asymmetrical balance in the movie poster. The color, shape are asymmetrical, but creates a dynamic visual balance. Even with the contrast between the two different faces, it is very interesting to combine them in a symmetrical way, which kinda ironically reflects the relationship between joker and batman.
