Steps below 👇🏻  ✨Remove all hardware and cabinets from vanity.  ✨Tape off area to avoid paint and stain on floor and walls. ✨Brush on two coats of liquid wood on the surface. Allow to dry 2 hours in between coats. I used light wood color and a foam brush to apply.  ✨Brush on two coats of stain on surface. Allow to sit one to two minutes before wiping off. I used weathered oak and a foam brush to apply.  ✨Allow to dry 48 hours before applying a coat of clear matte poly.   ✨Tip: Make sure all products are applied with long even strokes!   Such an easy process. Anyone can do it! Step 1. Select your desired paint - any color you like.  I personally just use “oops” paint found on clearance.  I take one part paint and mix with six parts water.  Give it a good mix!

Step 2.  Apply your paint wash to your prepped piece in small sections.  Make sure you get in all of the grooves, and go in all different directions.

Step 3.  Wipe back your paint wash with a lint free cloth.  You will need to wipe back in the direction of the wood grain at this time. 

And that’s it, just add your desired top coat 🎉 Really nothing super “fancy” to it, however there are additional steps you can take to really take your look to the next level! Read below ⬇️
