INGREDIENTS (2 portions)
250gr red split lentils
350ml hot water
Pinch of salt
Any spice you like: I used paprika for one batch, rosemary and pepper for the other

METHOD
Start by rinsing the lentils thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or debris.
Place the rinsed lentils in a bowl and cover them with water. Let them soak for at least 1 hour. This softens the lentils and makes them easier to blend.
Add the lentils to a blender or food processor with salt and spices and blend until smooth
