Just completed on August 27th... an 11"x 14" Watercolor of a charming two-story home in Brookfield, Illinois. This portrait was commissioned to commemorate many years of living at this address and the extensive renovation work completed to the property. This nice home is located in a neighborhood that I lived in for awhile when I was a teenager, called Roxborough. The client was my next door neighbor growing up, and now she and her husband bought this awesome house. Here's her cute calico kitty that is pictured in the top middle window. Some plant details, drawing landscaping is one of my favorite things. I really like this old double front door.

Rendered with pen and ink and watercolor, this portrait portrays a large home in Hinsdale, Illinois with lots of character and charm.
