Ikea PAX Wardrobe: NEW Updates You’ll Want to Know When Designing Your Closet

These are the newest changes to the Ikea PAX wardrobe design to keep in mind when planning your walk-in closet! If you want to DIY an Ikea PAX hack custom built-in look, read this first. Latest updates to the Ikea PAX 2.0 system in 2024!

We did everything ourselves so no labor cost nor equipment was added: - Base Structure (2x4s. You need to do this in order to lift the closet to fit the baseboard): $32 - @ikeausa Pax Wardrobe System (this is the most costly because you have to buy additional accessories to build your closet.. the amount of drawers, shelfs, and pull outs will determine how much it will cost): $1,720 - Closet Doors (I bought @ikea Forsand doors because it was much easier to work with them than build my own. This includes soft closing hinges and push to open system as well): $780 - Top Structure (consists of 2x4s and drywall to closet empty space between top of closet and ceiling.
