Mametchi (まめっち Mametchi) is a male adult Tamagotchi character who debuted on the original Tamagotchi, and has appeared on many versions since, serving as the series mascot. Kuchipatchi (くちぱっち Kuchipatchi) is a male Tamagotchi adult. His first debut was on the Original Tamagotchi, and is the secondary male mascot, as well as one of the main mascots of the Tamagotchi franchise along with Mametchi and Memetchi. His female counterpart is Yonepatchi. Kuchi means "mouth" or "lips", referring to Kuchipatchi's large lips-like beak.
