Weighted Bird Dogs are one of my FAVORITE exercises!! They won’t grow your glutes by themselves, but they will draw some blood to the area on the contraction, creating a small pumped up look. Bird dogs are both an anti-rotation and a spine flexion exercise. Anti-rotation exercises reduce risk of injuries by enhancing the ability of your core muscles to resist rotational forces and maintain proper alignment.
