Toes to bar is one of my favorite Crossfit movements! It is a skill that combines grip, upper body, and core strength with hamstring mobility.
1. Toes to Bar
2.Segmented V Ups - focusing on isolating each part of the movement hollow body, quick compression toe tap, hollow body, full lower.
3. Strict L Raises - emphasizing pulling down on the bar and keeping legs straight.
4.Low Bar Compression Holds - working on getting nose as close to knees as possible.
5. Low Bar Single Leg Compression Kicks - focusing on pulling down on the bar and having quick speed and compression when driving toe up.
6. Single Leg Box Toes to Bar - emphasizing quick tap of toe then immediately driving toe behind bar back while driving chest forward into arch swing.
