Mixed-media Maleficent large-scale display Big Figure (Big Fig) inspired by her appearance in Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty animated film (1959) during a scene at the climax of the film which takes place after Prince Phillip escapes from The Forbidden Mountain. This hand-painted resin Big Fig captures Maleficent frozen in motion, swirling herself in translucent green flames and holding her iconic staff, which is a separate accessory and made of resin with a translucent yellow orb and electroplated gold-tone staff. Maleficent’s overgown (also called a houppelande) is sculpted with flaring dagged sleeves resembling flames, and lined with purple velvet flocking. The figure stands upon a separate sculpted stone-block base with raised Maleficent lettering around the front edge. Limited Edition of 150 pieces (the figure pictured is #86/150).
