It is a soft and subtle pale lilac to pale pink colour which is combined with gold metallic thread and a floral design in shades of blue, green, yellow and red. I think that the listing photos give a good indication of the actual colours of the shawl. It has long fringing to each side which moves beautifully when it is worn. This shawl is reversible so can be worn both ways, it is shown here on both sides. It's a super piece of antique clothing and textile history. When laid flat it measures approximately 52\" inches by 51\" inches excluding the fringing which is 17\" inches long on each side.
