Zen Space - Cozy Reading Nook with Personal Flair
We conceptualised a cozy reading nook in this master bedroom. We colour blocked the corner in green, and set the space up with a snug armchair in a contrasting blush fabric, an ottoman for added comfort, a floor lamp lighting up the space. We also bordered one side of the green corner with photos from his childhood adding a sweet personal touch to this space. Bookshelf in the Study Room | Bespoke Storage Solutions
The client wanted a bookshelf in the study which was minimal and easy to maintain. So we worked up with a combination of glass and solid cabinets and open shelves. The client was reluctant to have open shelves citing maintenance. But we were pretty confident of having these open shelves to serve as perch spots for his beloved cats, whom we never forgot while designing any space in this home 😇 And sure enough…the client agreed and these open ledges became rest pods for the felines ❤️

When we moodboarded this room, we knew we wanted grey to be the driving colour here as well, but to add in some life to it and to enchance the idea of psychological restfulness, we decided to bring in a green colour. The bed and night stands were detailed with teak and banana fibre, while the headboard was upholstered in a gorgeous sage green suede fabric. Working with the client’s vision, we built this play area for his cats and it’s nothing but heart warming to see them use and enjoy the space ❤️ We had scratch poles, ledges, hammocks and multi levelled spaces for them to relax 😊 Such love for the cats and so much dedication to do everything to make them feel inclusive…our client is indeed their most favourite ‘hooman’ 😍

Yes, this is a bachelor pad… Yes, our client is a nature lover… Yes…he lives with his 3 pet cats… Yes…he he has a great taste in interiors and a distinct sense of style 😊 This beautiful balcony is filled with plants, which will only increase in number over time. Opening up the wall rendered copious amount of light falling into and out of this space. We had an input to design a simple, functional study room and we did just that. A height adjustable study table at the rear end, a bookshelf feature on the left side and a couple of chairs adorn this room. The bookshelf feature also has an interesting design element and stay tuned for that 😊
