Changing up the Kitchen!

I am collecting ideas for a kitchen makeover. I made a paint decision today - going with a mushroomy color called "Concept" - kind of a mix of grey and taupe. I ordered clear base to do the cabinets in espresso.

I got these cute stools to tuck under the new island. They match my other dining furniture perfectly.

I just finished moving my new Stenstorp island into place, after putting four coats of clear finish on the top.

Because I had such a long stretch of space available, I purchased both the Stenstorp kitchen cart and island. I clear-coated the wood tops. The containers holding my cookbooks are Pluggis, also from IKEA.
