Happy Birthday

It is my boyfriend's Mom's birthday this weekend.  This card was made for her.  She recently got a new dog so I had to use an image with a cute doggie on it.  I love the Precious Moments images!  I used loads of flowers and dies, some lace, ribbon and pearls.

Christmas Love

I love this picture.  I had to make a card from it.  I love that it combines Christ with Santa, two of my favorites!  LOL
I went with Kraft and Red with pearls.  I added some texture using an embossing folder.  I added some twine and a small bird.  The snowflakes are all punches.  The sentiment was punched out.

More Thank You Cards

I've been trying to catch up on my Thank You cards, I seem to be short on them, I have a lot of Birthday cards, not many Thank you cards.  I do need to make some guy birthday cards soon too...I'm out of those too!

For this card I used a Bugaboo image, an embossing folder and a "bow" die.

For this card I used an image from Doodle Pantry and a Bow.  I kept both of these fairly CAS.

We have two sponsors Ppinky Dolls and All Dressed Up.  I used an image from both and made two different cards using this sketch.  This post will show the card I made using the PPinky Dolls image called Little Star.  For this card I kept it pretty much all blacks and whites, except for the image...I added color to that.  I added a bow and a rose, but kept this relatively simple.

A Sketch Challenge

This fortnight over at Incy Wincy Designs the challenge is a sketch...this sketch:

We have two sponsors Ppinky Dolls and All Dressed Up.  I used an image from both and made two different cards using this sketch.  This post will show the Christmas card I made using the All Dressed Up image called Christmas Hair Do.  I used some NON-Christmas papers in non-traditional colors and added some fun gold accents, like the gold snowflakes and the gold banner.  I also added some blue gems.

Winter Wolf

One of my co-workers asked for a Christmas card with a wolf on it for her mom.  I finally got around to making it.  I used two embossing folders, two tree dies, some lace, ribbon and rickrack.  I added some Stickles to the trees to give it a more wintry feel.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.

It's All About The Love

This week the challenge theme over at Crafting With Dragonflies is "Christmas Card in Non-Traditional Colors".  I went with blue and white.  I used an image from Polka Doodles called Winnie Winterland - Mr & Mrs Claus.  I added a sentiment from Create With TLC.  I added lace, gems, ribbon and flowers.

Spinning Easel Drawer Box

The challenge this fortnight over at Incy Wincy Designs Challenges is "Not A Card".  I made a fun Easel Drawer Box with the spinning image.  We are being sponsored by Rick St. Dennis, I miss being on his DT!!  The image I used is "Bud Rose Fairy".

I got the spinner part from this video:

I love Dawns Stamping Thoughts for fun and different ideas!!  

For the box part I used this video as my inspiration:

I did not necessarily go with the measurements from the video however...just used the ideas!  Also my image doesn't just spin, he swings due to the fact that there is no string under him.

For my creation I used some cookie cutter dies, flowers, gems, pink card stock, floral DP cardstock, and the beige is the back of the floral DP cardstock.

I used a small rose as the "handle" of the drawer by piercing a small hole in the middle of the drawer and putting the stem through it, then gluing it into place.

Iris Friend Card

This fortnight over at Crafting With Dragonflies, the challenge theme is Use Your Stash Plus Bling.

This card was made to enter into the fair, hoping maybe it would win a ribbon...Sadly, it wasn't good enough.  Maybe too busy?  But, I still think it is pretty!

The Iris image is from Fred She Said, the sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I used two/three butterfly dies, oval dies, round dies, fancy matt die, and a fancy corner die.  I used some lace, bias lace and some glittery tulle.  I accented this all with string pearls.
