Make A Birthday Wish

 I've been invited to join Team B at Creatalicious Challenges.  This is my first entry!  The challenge this fortnight is Anything Goes w/optional use of Stars.  The sponsor is Rachelle Anne Miller.  The image I used is called Make A Wish.

For this card I cut my card base at 4.25 x 11, then folded it in half.  I cut it two inches from the score line, then cut another two inches and used that 2 x 4.25 piece on the bottom.  I cut all of the ovals using my Cricut.  I print the Happy Birthday sentiment and used punches for the stars (all of them).  I used a gold glimmer pen from CTMH to draw on more stars.  My final touch was the little knot of ribbon on the upper corner.

Hello Baby!

 This is an adorable Sheepski image that I won.  This is called Little Heart.  I added a banner with the words Hello Baby all created using my Cricut.  I used an edge punch on the piece of green cardstock down the center.  I used some gold gems and added a flower and leaves.

Butterfly Walk

 Here is an image I won from Sheepski Designs called Party Shoes.  I cut out a bunch of different butterflies from the Cricut library, added some pearls, used a clock die and added a bow and some flowers.

Halloween Monsters Shaker Card

 How can you not love these adorable monsters?  Aren't they just soooo cute?    These are from The Paper Shelter.  They are called Les Petits Monstres, and they are free right now.  I added googly eyes, but their own eyes are great too!  I also used googly eyes in places of gems.  I did the "cheater's version" of a shaker card using tulle rather than vellum or plastic.  Trust me, it works!  :)  I added a pumpkin gem I just sort of found in my stuff.

Birthday Princess Card

 This sweet card was made using an adorable princess image from The Paper Shelter called Spring Princess.  I used the Cricut to fussy cut the pre-colored image.  I used a precolored print and cut image from Cricut called Roses, Print Fill #M5398950 that seemed to match the roses on the image super well.  I also used a banner from Cricut called Banner #M8909FBB.  I created the card base on the Cricut as well by using shapes and lines.  I added some gems and a ribbon.

Christmas Snail

 I was wanting to create a Christmas card with this funny Santa Snail from QKR Stampede, as I was printing and cutting it I started to wish I had a santa to sit on his back, since I couldn't find a fitting one from QKR I found a fun set called Rustic Santa From Buddly Crafts.  I added a ribbon and some gems and wrote Merry Chirstmas using my Cricut.

Owl Birthday Step Card

 It's been a while since I've made a step card.  This card was made using an adorable image from My Besties- Sherri Baldy.  I also cut out the owl to add another to the card.  I added some lace, flowers and pearls.  Using my Cricut I cut the doily and banner and wrote the sentiment.  I also used my Cricut to create the layout for the step card.

Oh, Hello!

Pole Dancer Birthday

If you have never tried to dance a pole or take a class you have no idea how difficult it is, especially for someone with two left feet like myself.  It is quite the work out!  Granted pole dancing has a pretty bad reputation, but I will tell you, I have a lot of respect for the people who can dance that pole, it takes a lot of strength and coordination.  

 I saw this fun image over on the YamPuff Chibis page - FREE!!  I turned this into a Tall/Skinny card using a rectangular sketch from Try Stampin' -or not' On Tuesday:

I used a couple of fun DPs, cut the lower half using my Cricut, for that matter, the images was also cut using my Cricut.  I added some ribbon I got from CTMH, used a glimmer pen from CTMH, then added some gems.

Fight Like A Girl

 Today one of my co-workers asked me to make a card for a little 8 yr old girl who just found out that her cancer has returned.  She had been in remission for a few years, so this was rather devastating news.  They all knew the return was a possibility, however, that didn't make the news any easier.  My co-worker asked if I would make her an uplifting/encouragement type card for her to give to the little girl.  The little girl has long blond hair, and so I was asked to make one with a blonde haired girl. After going through all of my digital images that I already had, I didn't find one that really fit what I was looking for.  I found this image on the Free Chibi page over at the Yampuff website where there are a lot of really fun and free digital images.  I used my Cricut to cut out a bunch of fun shapes (the scalloped boarder on the bottom came from the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge, the shape the sentiment was written on [also using the Cricut] came from the Cricut Craft Room Basics set, the stitched edging came from the Cricut Alphabet cartridge).  I sponged the white piece I put the image over using a stamp pad and some glitter paint, then I added two different ribbons and some gems.  Because of the patterned papers it turned out pretty busy, but I actually like how it turned out!  Sure hope my co-worker, and more importantly, the lit little girl, like it!

A Jawsome Birthday Card

 This card was made with a few different challenges in mind.  

First I used the current sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Heart 2 Heart (using CTMH items) - the challenge is 'Tags', the CTMH items used are the Peacock-stitched ribbon and the shark and sentiments from the Jawsome Birthday Stamp Set.

Bitten By The Bug 2 (Cricut Projects) - Use Patterned Paper - the DP and tag used are from Go Digital Scrapbooking, I uploaded the tag to my Cricut work station and used the print and cut option.  I also stampped the shark image, scanned into my computer, then uploaded to Cricut so that I could cut it out too.  

I added a fun metal skull and crossbones.  I used some Glossy Accents over the eye for some added texture.

 These sheep are from Dr. Digi Called 'Flossy'.  I've colored them black and lt. grey.  I used some fun cow print digi paper.  The sentiment was drawn and cut using my Cricut Explore 2.  I followed the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday by turning the square into a tall/skinny card.
