Crazy Cat Lady Turns 30

 My oldest daughter turned 30 yesterday.  She has a lot of cats, A LOT!!  She keeps rescuing them.  LOL  I made this card for her, sadly, I am so bad about getting things in the mail - all the cards I make and I almost never put them in the mail, and when I do, they get returned to me due to insufficient postage, which makes me not want to mail them anyway!  LOL  In fact my youngest daughter just got her July birthday card, last week, handed to her.  I kept forgetting to bring it when I went to see her (and it had a $20 bill in it).  Sad huh?  At least it still had the $20 in it when I handed it to her.  LOL

Anyway...  About this card.  I just got the set from CraftsUprint.  The set is called Princess Cat Mini Kit.  The set comes with 6 different cats to pick from, including tags, card fronts, the gift, the bow, and several sentiments.  I chose to upload to my Cricut and cut it out individually and put it together.  I used one of the blank sentiment tags and wrote my own, also using the Cricut.  I added the googly eyes, just for fun, even tho the images was so pretty, it was hard to do.  LOL

Two Christmas Cards

 These two cards were made using the December Stamp Of The Month from Close To My Heart (CTMH).  The Papers used are from Hobby Lobby collections.  

This first collection I was playing with some embossing pens for my first time.  I used gold, silver and black embossing powders, I also used some Stickles.  The gold strips are 3/16" Gold Sequin ribbon from CTMH (currently on clearance until gone).  I did a double flap fold.

This second card the sentiment was from a previous stamp of the month.  No embossing just used stickles and glossy accents.

This was made for this fortnight's 'last minute Christmas/New Year' challenge over at Creatalicious.

 This card/gift was made using October's Stamp of the Month from Close To My Heart.  I added some Coockies and Cream Hershy's Kisses in the box.  The background behind the owl I did using ink pads and blending brushes.  I used a white Sharpie Paint brush/pen in the leaves and over the tree branch.  I added clear/white sequins all around and finished this off with a crinkle ribbon bow.

 It's a friend's birthday this month.  I almost missed it, due to being so busy working and Claus'ing.  I had to make her a card using this image set from Art Impressions, for some reason, not sure why, it made me think of her when I saw it! I turned it into a Spinner card - too perfect with the sentiment!

Tickled Pink

 I don't know about you, but I'm feeling like it's time for a vacation to the tropics!  This card was made for this month's ATG challenge over at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge.  For this card I used her Flamingo Happy Hour and her Tropical Paradise images.  I used some tropical paper and stickers from a retired CTMH paper pack, a fun mermaid and a sea shell charm and some hemp twine.  To add some extra depth I used a frame die in the center, but kept the center where it belongs.

 I used the ever so fun stamp and paper set (some animals cut from the paper pack) called Zoo Crew.  The background paper is from another paper pack.  Since this is a fun-fold and the designer paper is busy, I kept it rather simple by using brads as the only add on.
