Indie agencies can close the data gap.
Sure, the gap is widening as holding companies invest billions in data infrastructure (Publicis' $2.2B LiveRamp acquisition is just the latest). But so is a need for right-sized solutions the majority of advertisers can trust.
We built
RainBarrel with the majority in mind. Now we’re expanding it into a broad offering that incorporates data curation. The whole thing, from audiences to media avails, to give advertisers the synthesis they’re missing from one platform.
Today we announced that
Michael Racic, President of Prebid, is joining
Knower Tech as Managing Director to lead our new data curation vertical under the RainBarrel brand.
Christian Janelli, Prebid's Director of Product Management, joins as VP of Product Strategy.
Together they have built much of our industry’s technology backbone.
RainBarrel isn't a net-new experiment — it unifies proven tech we already have in market, including 15,000+ audience segments based on where consumers actually go and bot detection through
Real Impression. They’re building on the same AI expertise we've developed through
AdsCopilot, now applied to the data layer.
Our approach will be completely transparent. Buyers will see everything. No hidden fees, no opaque supply paths; just more power to deliver media that meets clients’ individual goals.
Our agency partners have been testing and shaping these tools throughout development, and the feedback has reinforced what we believed from the start: Independent agencies can compete on effectiveness when they have the right data infrastructure behind them.
Welcome to the team,
Michael Racic and
Christian Janelli. Excited for what's ahead.
