Heres a quick #toolaholictip for you guys Occasionally we install flooring after trim, so in this case we use a shoe molding or Colonial quarter round/panel moulding to cover the expansion gap for laminate and engineered flooring. Instead of trying to mask against the floor which almost always results in paint wicking under the tape, I cut up rolls of wax or baking paper to 3" and lay them down as I install trim. I made a jig to cut these rolls safely on a miter saw. Once you finish paint...
