In a saucepan cook down the milk and sugar (this can be maple syrup, honey or cane) until half the volume, this took me about 30 min. You will need to stir pretty frequently. 2. Then remove from heat, add in vanilla and butter and mix 3. Store in fridge up to a week and use in your recipes! 74K views · 1.6K reactions | How to keep your apples from turning brown. Great for prepping ahead! You, of course, could squeeze lemon juice over the apples, but my kids hate the lemon taste on them so I use this method: cut the apples into slices and soak for 5 minutes in a bowl of water with 1 teaspoon of salt. Rinse the apples and pat dry. Store in the fridge. #tipsandtricks #lifehacks #preventbrowning #apples #lunchbox #lunchideas | Stephanie Gigliotti

102K views · 3.5K reactions | How to make Velveeta Cheese | Y'all gotta try this Velveeta Cheese. Why buy it when you can make it! 🧀 🧀 🧀 Velveeta Cheese 1/3 C. Dry Milk Powder 1 envelope Gelatin... | By Kitchentool | Y'all I'm going to show you how to make homemade velveeta cheese using only four ingredients and it's definitely cheaper than the store bought and it melts like the store-bought velveeta. So, let me show you how. You do need to do a little prep before you actually start the recipe. So, get a loaf pan or any kind of dish you got and line it with some plastic wrap and just have that ready to go and then you need a blender or a food processor. So, in the food processor, go ahead and add in 1/ 3 cup of dry Milk Powder. Then you need a pack of unflavored gelatin. It doesn't matter the brand. You just need one pack. One cup of boiling water. Now just pulse it for a second to mix it all up. Now you want to shred in four cups of mild cheddar cheese. If you don't have a shredded attachment just shredded before you start your recipe. Just like that. Now you want to blend it until it's smooth. And when it's all nice and smooth get your loaf pan. And that's how it looks and just pour it in there. It looks like Velveeta. Just like that. Now, put it in the refrigerator to set up for about two, maybe three hours and a few hours in the fridge, the Velveeta is set. Just take it out of your container Okay, it slices like Velveeta. It smells like Velveeta. It tastes like Velveeta. Now I want to see if it melts like Velveeta. So I'm just going to add a couple pieces of Velveeta into a bowl and a little bit of salsa. Then I'm going to melt it in the microwave. In just a minute in the microwave, check it out. There you have it. Your own homemade Velveeta cheese.
