Still some finishing touches to get done (like handles!) but really glad with how this IKEA hack came together. Ikea pieces I used- - 4x Billy bookcases 80cm wide and the extension shelves - 8x Oxberg doors I used the fully enclosed Oxberg doors so the bookshelves would be more akin to cupboards. I have lots of unsightly items to store- like kids crafts, my crafts, random things… having open bookcases wouldn’t have made sense. But I do love there are some open shelves at the top for books📖. I colour drenched the room in Cambridge Green by @benjaminmooreuk . They’re one of my favourite things in my home 😍 So here’s how we created this bespoke look. You’ll need: - IKEA Billy bookcases, the short ones with Oxberg doors - Skirting - MDF - An extra door to cut in half 😉 - A kitchen end panel for the top (budget hack) - B&Q tongue and groove panel kit - Coving of choice"
