Skins on. We're going to add some garlic. I'm just using the minced garlic. We're going to add a/ 2 cup of vegetable broth. You could use chicken broth too. I'm going to use some basil. I did not have fresh basil but this kind works in a pinch, some garlic powder, a little bit of crushed red pepper that's optional but I like mine to be a little bit spicy Italian seasoning and some salt and pepper. And that's it. We're going to cook this on high for 4 hours and then we're going to blend it up and add the next ingredient. Now, our tomatoes are almost done roasting but I had an idea. We're going to take some of this Texas toast. We're going to make some grilled cheese dippers for our tomato soup. And now we're going to take some cheese. I'm using Colby Jack. Take our other toast. Now this has been thawed. They're from the freezer but thawed. And then we're going to close it up. Oh. Alright, just a couple minutes later and we've got grilled cheese in the waffle iron. Whoa. Look at that. Let's see. That was fancy. Extra little tricks for you. We're going to slice it. Dude. There we go. You just stop that. Yes. Gave up on the last one. They will never know. Alright, our tomatoes have been roasting for four hours on high but now we need to get some cream. Some heavy cream in the fridge. Heavy cream. Would you grab it for me, Chris? Get that. Very strong. Alright, heavy cream. Here we go. Boom. Now, we're going to add one cup of heavy cream Now, I'm going to take my immersion blender and it goes right in Oh my. Yep. It just kind of pulvered. That's exactly what you want. Look at this. Creamy tomato massacre. Yes, this was not a good day for the tomatoes. Scoop it out. Nice and creamy. Now, we are still going to top this. Sprinkle some grated parmesan on top. Pinch more of our basil and remember those grilled cheese dippers. Mm hmm. We've got those too. It's time to taste test. Okay, the first taste test. Alright. It's exciting. Mm. Here we go. Really good. Tomato soup. Our grilled cheese dippers. Mm. Little bit of spice, huh? That's good. Really good. That was easy too. Me for me. I didn't do anything. I'm telling you. Grilled cheese dippers. Tomato soup. This is a win. I love this.
