Salted Butterscotch White Russian
A salted butterscotch white Russian is a tasty fall cocktail using butterscotch schnapps and coffee liqueur. For me, a Kahlúa white Russian is the best autumn cocktail! This cocktail is typically sweet, but with the salty element of the butterscotch it really dials up the flavour. It’s a creamy, indulgent cocktail which is easy to prepare and way too easy to drink! You need butterscotch schnapps (I used DeKuyper’s Buttershots), vodka and Kahlúa (coffee liqueur) are the alcohols you use. #...

Easy Holiday dessert ideas | Easy Holiday dessert ideas I share my most popular christmas desserts. | By Rick's Friend Justine | Alright. So, we're starting off with two cans of cherry pie filling and this is in my Christmas tree aluminum pan. It's not plastic. I know a few of you guys got worried last time I used this. This is a metal pan. Beautiful. Now, I'm going to come in with my cheesecake no bake. Oh my goodness. This is going to go so well with that cherry cheesecake or with that cherry pie filling. We're going to grab a little scooper and we're going to some pieces of this cheesecake right on top of this cherry pie filling. Oh my goodness. I don't know about you guys but I love cherry and cheesecake together. It's just the ultimate combination and what we're going to do today is just going to make it even better. Oh yeah. Just kind of get a nice, you know, little cheesecake amount around your pan. Doesn't need to be all over but you know, we want some cheesecake in each bite, right babe? Yeah, I definitely agree. Yeah, make sure you get some stem right there. Maybe a little bit right there huh? Yeah yeah. More the merrier. Okay. More the merry Christmas herb. Beautiful. Now before we go onto the next step I'm just going to bring back my spatula and kind of just flatten those cheesecake scoops onto those cherries. It doesn't need to be marbled or mixed or anything like that. We just need a flat surface for this next step. Ooh doesn't that look delicious? Yeah we might need to add a little bit more. I think that's perfect actually. We don't want it to be too sweet. Oh. Right? I Alright, because the next thing we're adding is the super moist French vanilla cake mix and we're going to add that all on top of our cheesecake and cherry pie filling. Oh my goodness. Look how delicious this is coming together. Okay. Yum. It smells phenomenal. I know, right? And we're just going to use our clean hands and kind of just flatten that cake mix. We want a nice flat surface for this dessert. All these flavors are going to go well together. Oh my. I'm so excited. Now you could use you know a yellow cake mix or a white cake mix. Whatever you want. If you want chocolate with this do a chocolate cake mix. But I really like the vanilla flavors with that cheesecake and that cherry pie filling. Now we're on to our last step and we're going to add our sliced butter right on top of that cake mix. We're not going to mix anything. We're just placing these right on top. So that this can cook up that cake mix. We don't need any eggs. We don't need any oil. We just need this butter and that delicious cherry cheesecake combination that we made underneath. Oh yeah. Whoa. This is like super innovative. Yeah and super delicious. And it's going to look so cute in this adorable Christmas tree pan. I got this pan on Amazon last year. I'm sure they still have it though because it's Wilton brand and a Wilton is pretty consistent. Okay and we are just placing these little butter slices, you know, trying to cover up each, you know, little area of our cake mix. I'm going to grab another stick. Now, you can use salted or unsalted. I just usually only have salted in my house so that's what I'm using but if you're worried about your sodium, use the unsalted. You know, it won't make a huge difference in the taste. Okay, almost done here. Yummy. This is looking so good, right? Babe? Yeah, it definitely is. Those butter slices are thick. Okay, so we we're going to use about one and a half sticks of butter and this is ready. Okay, my oven is set to 375 and this is going to cook for 45 minutes. Alright. Just cut out our little rounds out of our pie dough just like so. Alright, so I have 12 pie crust circles. I'm going to bring in my muffin tin that I already greased and we're going to go ahead and put our pie dough right into each of our muffin holes just like so. Perfect. Go ahead and just kind of smoosh those little folds right there so we get a nice flat pie crust. Okay, I have some cherry pie filling here and we're just going to go ahead and add a beautiful, generous scoop right into our mini pie crust just like so Now I'm doing this first row right here with cherries and then I have some other delicious flavors for the other rows but you have to wait to see what we do at the end because it's going to make it so adorable and perfect for Christmas. Okay, those cherries are looking good. Now, my personal favorite, I have some apple pie filling and I did cut up my apples a little bit so that they would fit into our mini crust without any worries. Oh my goodness. Now, just like the pie crust, you can make your own homemade pie filling but this is just my quick and easy version just to give you guys a little bit of inspiration before it gets crazy for the holidays. Oh, yeah. Look, those cut-up apples are just perfect. Beautiful. Now, for my last row, you guys know I had to do some blueberry and we're just going to put that right in there. Whoo. We got the best pie flavors all in one pan. That's why I love using the muffin tin. Just gets everyone gets what they want. Oh, this is looking delicious, babe. Yeah. Just make sure that pie fillings are nice and filled. Beautiful. Now, for the fun part. Okay. Now, gotta make a top crust. So, I just have one more roll of my Pillsbury pie crust that we are going to use. You won't need more than one. Okay. Now, I have here some green sugar sprinkles and this is going to be super fun. We're just going to kind of sprinkle it in one little area of our pie crust and then use your hands and smoosh it into that pie crust just like so. That's going to be Super fun you guys. This looks this does look fun. Now I have some red sugar sprinkles. And we're going to put that right here. What is this for? You'll see it's for the top top crust of our pie. Now we're going to start with our red sprinkles and I have the cutest mini little candy cane cookie cutter and we're going to cut four little candy canes out. They're so cute. Yeah. That's why the sugar was there. The sprinkles just make it extra fun. Alright now that we have those cut out I'm going to grab a Christmas tree mini cookie cutter. So cool. And are going to cut out four of our Christmas trees. Where did you find these cookie cutters? Just at my local Smith's Kroger. You know whatever one you have near you they have these adorable cookie cutters but I'm sure you can find some on Amazon as well. Now you're thinking we have twelve pies I think for the blueberry we're going to go with some classic snowflakes we're going to keep them white since they are white and we're going to get four of our snowflakes extra pie dough that you can make some cinnamon sugar bites out with so don't throw that out alright now that these are ready let's bring back our mini pies oh my goodness okay snowflakes go on the blueberry whoo ha cute are these? Super cute. And then for the apple we're going to do the little Christmas trees. Oh my goodness. I am so excited for these to come out of the oven. The cutest easiest holiday treat you'll ever make. And then of course the candy canes go on the red cherries. How adorable are those? Perfect. Perfect. Alright you guys. These are ready for the oven. My oven is set to 350 and these are going to cook for 25 minutes. Alright, these are just my Rolos. Now, we're going to go ahead and split our biscuits right in half. Just like that. These are just my original grand's biscuits. We're going to go ahead and grab half our biscuit with our Rolo and we are going to cover up that Rolo and make a little ball just like that. Make sure the rollo isn't peeking out anywhere. Grab our greased bump pan and place that right inside. So, we're going to go ahead and roll up our Rolos in our biscuit dough and fill up our bump pan. We're going to use about two cans of biscuits so that we can really fill up our bump pan and get a delicious and easy dessert. Alright, last one of our two packages of biscuits. Place it right into our bump pan. Make sure pinch that close because we do not want that caramel to escape. Perfect. Now, we're going to come over here and grab our two sticks of butter and we're going to some light brown sugar to this butter. We want about a cup of brown sugar. Whoo. That looks beautiful. Go ahead and grab our whisk. We're going to go ahead and just mix that brown sugar right into that butter. Okay, that looks like it's going to be the best it will get. Oh, look how yummy that looks. Oh my. Okay, let's go ahead and grab our bundt pan and we're going to go ahead and drizzle our brown sugar butter mixture right on top of our Rolo biscuits. Whoa that looks so delicious. Okay I might have overmade our little brown sugar butter mixture but that's okay. We're going to go ahead and pop this in the oven at 350 for about 35 to 40 minutes. While that's in the oven we're going to go ahead and grab some powdered sugar. We're going to put about a cup of powdered sugar in here. Maybe a little less. Doesn't need to be too much. I'm just kind of eyeballing it. We're going to grab some whole milk but you can use any milk preference you choose. And we're just going to add like one or two teaspoons in there. Nothing crazy. Go ahead and grab a whisk and we're going to whisk that milk into our powdered sugar to create a icing for our pull-apart bread. Oh, okay. That looks good but we definitely need a little bit more milk in there. Nothing crazy. Perfect because I wanted to kind of just be able to drizzle on top of that monkey bread kind of like if it was a cinnamon roll. Oh my gosh. Oh, that's exactly what we were looking for okay so now we have a delicious icing for our Rolo's pull apart bread let's go ahead and check on it in the oven look at that our beautiful Christmas desserts oh my goodness it looks so good right babe yeah it looks so good alright so this is a scooping kind of dessert let's go ahead and get a nice goodness. Look at that cheesecake. Oh yeah. A nice crust on top. I'm going to get a little bit more. Oh my goodness. That is looking so delicious. It's just like a delicious cheesecake cherry cobbler. And you guys know can't do it without some Ready Whip right? Yeah the dogs are going to go crazy. I know they love this stuff. Whoo. Spinning in circles. Okay, let's go ahead. Try this cherry cheesecake deliciousness Oh my god. It looks hot. Oh my gosh. That is so good you guys. You have to try it. My. They look so cute and they're going to look even better when we pop them out. I'm going to go for an apple. We did grease our pan. Look at that perfectly cooked pie. Little mini pie tartlet with the Christmas tree on top. Ooh let me know what flavor you guys would pick. Apple's always my favorite. Is it good? Smells good. This is perfect. Look at that. Oh my goodness. It smells like chocolate croissants in our house. Whoo. Okay. So, we're going to go ahead and place our plate right on top and we're going to flip this. We're flipping this. Yeah. It's going to be flipping awesome. All that buttery goodness. Okay. We made it. You did it. You did it. Alright, let's go ahead and lift it. Oh my. We're going to go ahead and bring in that icing. And drizzle it right on top of our Rolo pull apart monkey Look how good that looks. The icing is obviously optional but delicious. Okay. It is time to try this out. Best part is you just grab your pork and your little appetizer plate. Oh my gosh. Look at all that chocolate. Okay. You get your little half biscuit filled with a Rolo. Look, it's perfectly cooked too. Oh. Dig in. I want some of that chocolate in there. Look at the inside. Oh wow. It didn't really focus but it looked good. Mm. Oh my gosh. That is so good you guys. You have to try it. Like right now. Like today.
