I love the way these socks came out- I made them using some of pressed coreopsis, dried marigolds and roses 🥀 from last summer… there’s still loads of colour in them but somehow the effect is more muted and vintage looking. Most of my dye garden is growing nicely now- despite a hungry rabbit 🐰 😤 but still a little wait for those flowers 🌸 I’ll be bringing these down the the market @saintleonardschurchmarket tomorrow as part of @acuriousagenda - it’s going to be a good one! #naturaldyes #botan...

Je me suis réconcilié avec le « tataki zome », la technique de martelage des fleurs directement sur la fibre…En fait, j’aime l’utiliser pour ajouter quelques fleurs sur des pièces que j’ai fait en Ecoprint (à vapeur donc) et je trouve que le mariage des 2 techniques est parfait!
