Shells

As a young girl growing up in New Zealand, my family would go to the beach and I would, pick up shells to take home, my Mother told me that if you put your ear to a shell you can always hear the sea, so True... I would take my shells home and listen to the sounds of the beach as I lay on my bed. I also enjoyed making shell mice as well lol... When my Dad went to Vietnam we stopped in at Mangaweka to show me the Car covered in Shells, as a young girl I was so impressed... Memories
