Dry mix:
• Maida 120 gm
• Custard powder 3 tbsp
• Baking powder 1/2 tsp
• Salt a pinch
• Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Wet mix:
• Unsalted Butter 100 gm
• Powder sugar 90 gm
• Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
Chopped pista to garnish
1. Whisk butter and sugar for 2-3 mins.
2. Add vanilla and whisk for 20-25 seconds.
3. Sieve/Mix everything under dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
4. Add wet and dry together and with light hand prepare a soft dough, add 1-2 tbsp of milk if the mixture appears dry.
5. Make lemon sized balls and dip one side in chopped pista.
6. Keep it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours and then bake at 160°C for 15-20 mins.
