Taroko is a colorful short sleeve sweater with a round yoke and lace elements throughout. It was inspired by its namesake, Taroko National Park in Taiwan and its lush green mountains and waterfalls, which are bursting with life and beauty. The body of the sweater can be made cropped or as long as you want and the neck is wide for extra comfort. Use the coloring page provided to plan your sweater! Sample is Size 4 and used Farmer’s Daughter Fibers, Foxy Lady (70% Merino Wool, 30% Silk, 100 g / 428 yds) in colorways: Gary Cooper (MC - 2 skeins), Spring Fever (CCA - 1 skein) and Heartbreak Hotel (CCB - 1 skein) HOOKS: 5 mm or size needed to meet gauge; 2 sizes smaller and 3 mm sizes smaller hooks (for example 4 and 3.5 mm if gauge was met with 5mm hook) for the lace portions and ribbed edges respectively.
