Construction Expertly crafted of kiln-dried solid meranti wood with Sungkai and MDF veneers. Crafted of meranti, a tropical hardwood with a long, beautiful grain. Finished in our exclusive Seadrift finish or Charcoal. The frame and legs are crafted from solid Meranti wood. Meranti wood is a medium to coarse textured wood which ranges in color with a slightly interlocked grain pattern. MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product's structural integrity over time. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking, and developing mildew. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has elegant surfaces and consistent color tones that will not be subject to cracking. Top, sides and drawer fronts are made of Sungkai veneer over Meranti.
