Smekermann Prosthuman is one of the more interesting albums I’ve heard in a long while. Each song feels like a microcosm of different sounds, atmospheres, and influences. From sequencer/motorik banger El Ley, to claustrophobic, sometimes dissonant pieces like Schmwarf and Kartoffelstampf, and running the gamut in-between, the album is a multi-faceted take on the neo-krautrock genre. Freundschaft contains what I feel must be the first example of post-rock blastbeats (not blastbeats in post-rock, mind you).
Favorite track: A2.

PannionSeer BUYER BEWARE! I ordered vinyl in April 2021 and have yet to receive the album or a refund, nearly 8 months later. The band has been completely unresponsive.

UPDATE: It's August 2022, and I still haven't received my record, a refund, or any communication. I assume I was scammed.
