Verse: It always seemed so special As I strolled ev’ry street The heady perfume in the air Made My heart skip a beat yet now there’s something missing And I can’t feel it’s charm Ill be so bold say truth be told I need you in my arms Chorus: I was alone in Paris Splendor all around The sights and the sounds of Paris Are my playground Post cards to you from Paris Wishing you were here The days bring ennui in Paris Without you near Bridge: The city of light Would feel so right If I had you Kissing me tonight My heart like the Seine And Saint Germain Is changed if I can’t hear you Call my name Chorus: Yet here I am in Paris And for you I long I dream of you in Paris That’s my love song

Ev-er-y time When it suited you You would disguise All you’d say and do Look straight in my eyes Flat out deny, And you would just tell me a lie I’d compromise Tho I always knew Obviously this was overdue Yes just this one time Needed you to Tell me a lie that you were true B While the birds and the bees Dance in grass sing in trees Love blooms neath the pale crescent moon But for you and for me This now can never be Why did you have to Set me free? So now my love my hands are tied This final verdict won’t be set aside You did the one thing I can’t abide Cause just this once Wish you had lied

I’m a little vulnerable these days My head and heart are in a daze Not sure of my footing in this life’s maze I’m just a little vulnerable these days The minutes tick by not that I care Not watching the time I’ve lots to spare It seems a bit more than just a phase I’m just a little vulnerable these days B1 It isn’t the weather No that’s not the case Hearing the news it’s all such a waste Times in the past I’d use drink as my nurse The friends who remain Tell me this is my curse A3 Each day I have less and less at stake I once had a point that I could make Still hoping that I can find a way I’m just a little vulnerable these days B2 Hey don’t get me wrong I’m not always this lost And things that I do Seem well worth the cost There just are some days I’m not in control Of how I might feel Or where my thoughts go A4 Please don’t be concerned It’s all okay Will show up and join back in the fray And pick myself up soon come what may I’m just a little vulnerable these days

Could be the weather and the heat Plus those pot holes in the streets Looks like the Saints are gonna suffer defeat In the past you would curse All the stars up above Not these days cause you’re too much in love A neighbor you could swear Makes noises like a bear And nobody else in the neighborhood cares Now you let it go by You’re on some sort of high Cooing like a dove who’s in love B There’s a lilt in your voice Ev’ry day you rejoice While you whistle some distracted tune You’re completely over the moon Some guy on the plane Driving you so insane Kicking your seat with a second line beat There once was a time you’d have give him a shove But these days you’re too much in love These days you’re too much These days you’re too much in love Solos on two A’s B It’s all sweetness and light Your eyes shine way too bright Friends say we lost him too soon So completely over the moon Last A Stuck in traffic in the rain Used to make you scream in vane Cursing like a sailor only way more profane Now you’re singing sweet songs No one’s ever heard of Cause these days you’re too much These days you’re too much Yes these days you’re too much in love

All the wounded ones Have a way Of breaking your heart (A crime) All the wounded ones Come what may Will play a large part (Each time) Of hurting you Then they say Can we please just pretend That it never happened Here is my amend You’re my only friend May I ask one tiny favor Please pass me the knife To twist it again Soothe you with their charm While they do the most harm All the wounded ones sweet and shy And won’t blink an eye As they make you cry All the wounded ones Then they say Recall when I said That I didn’t mean to how was I to know this would hurt you so Once again a little favor Let me in your life To cause you more strife A small sacrifice Please hand me that knife Soothe you with their charm As they do you harm All the wounded ones

Watch the river Flowing out to the sea Without cares Or anxiety No thoughts of Notoriety It reminds me Nothing lasts forever Time Passes Let it all just be and Bear witness Trust in what you see B Let it go and Watch those waters gleam Theres no burden As I flow downstream Things have changed now I’ve forgiven me and This heavy Heart has been set free so Each day holds Possibility Mississippi Flows out to the sea and She beckons Come along with me Dark waters Are my hearts trustee

Days that are quiet I glance in the mirror There’s no need to linger too long Days that are quiet there’s no voice reminding me Of all that I have done wrong B In moments of stillness I watch the world spinning I’m finally free I’m finally free of me Days that are quiet My time is the present There’s no place that I’d rather be (have to be) Solos Days that are quiet It’s all really easy I’m in a flow going downstream Days that are quiet Each moment that passes I’m living a beautiful dream B These moment of stillness I hear my heartbeat I’m fearless and free I’m letting it all just be Because Days that are quiet With age and it’s wisdom I’m finding that I can ignore What came before

It was Jackie’s dilemma did he jump or did he fall When it came to this new women he just couldn’t tell at all He liked to think that he was smart but this one’s tough to call There was something bout the way she looked that made him feel real small And altho I tried to warn him buddy look before you leap It wasn’t long before I heard he’d fallen hard and deep Yes He found himself so much in love that he was losin sleep Every night he’d toss and turn he couldn’t even count those sheep Yeah that Jackie he just never had much sense Lots of ladies Tho his heart stayed on the fence Liked a good time yes you know he’s had a few But now he’s got that fever doesn’t know just what to do There was something he was going thru and he just couldn’t see it wasn’t what he drank or smoked that made this come to be Always had a whole lot more control with every other she Found his heart was Pumping really fast she’d brought him to his knees. Solos Yeah that Jackie he just never had much sense Lots of ladies But his heart stayed on the fence He’s a goner and he doesn’t even know How life’s about to change now cause she will run the show Yes was Jackie’s dilemma that day he met jaqulene When she took her entrance evry room would then become a scene Yes his world revolved around her she became his everything And it wasn’t long left fourth finger displayed that diamond ring
