Radiance is the first Carroll Sisters Trio album, featuring Emilie Carroll and Nora Carroll on fiddle, and Sammy Wetstein on cello and piano! The trio has combined traditional tunes from Ireland, Scotland, and Cape Breton with more contemporary Celtic tunes from the US and beyond to create a beautiful celebration of the American Celtic tradition today. Featuring several original tunes as well as tunes from contemporary composers such as Liz Carroll, Seamus Egan, Sharon Shannon, Galen Fraser, John Whelan, and more, the trio seamlessly creates engaging arrangements of contemporary and traditional Celtic tunes and pays homage to their upbringing in the US Celtic fiddle tradition.
