Estructura Materia) ; Cap, T (NCBJ, Warsaw) ; Costache, C (Bucharest, IFIN-HH) et al.
We investigated decays of $^{51, 52, 53}\mathrm{K}$ at the ISOLDE Decay Station at CERN in order to understand the mechanism of the $\beta$-delayed neutron-emission ($\beta n$) process. The experiment quantified neutron and $\gamma$-ray emission paths for each precursor [...]

Probing exotic cross-shell interactions at $N=28$ with single-neutron transfer on $^{47}$K
/ Paxman, C.J. (Surrey U.) ; Matta, A. (LPC, Caen) ; Catford, W.N. (Surrey U.) ; Lotay, G. (Surrey U.) ; Assié, M. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Clément, E. (GANIL) ; Lemasson, A. (GANIL) ; Ramos, D. (GANIL) ; Orr, N.A. (LPC, Caen) ; Galtarossa, F. (IJCLab, Orsay) et al.
We present the first measurement of the $^{47}$K($d,p\gamma$)$^{48}$K transfer reaction, performed in inverse kinematics using a reaccelerated beam of $^{47}$K. The level scheme of $^{48}$K has been greatly extended with nine new bound excited states identified and spectroscopic factors deduced. [...]

Precision spectroscopy and laser-cooling scheme of a radium-containing molecule
/ Udrescu, S M (MIT) ; Wilkins, S G (MIT) ; Breier, A A (Kassel U.) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Ruiz, R F Garcia (MIT) ; Au, M (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Belošević, I (TRIUMF) ; Berger, R (Philipps U. Marburg) ; Bissell, M L (Manchester U.) ; Binnersley, C L (Manchester U.) et al.
Molecules containing heavy radioactive nuclei are predicted to be extremely sensitive to violations of the fundamental symmetries of nature. The nuclear octupole deformation of certain radium isotopes massively boosts the sensitivity of radium monofluoride molecules to symmetry-violating nuclear properties. [...]

Radiative lifetime of the A 2Π1/2 state in RaF with relevance to laser cooling
/ ISOLDE Collaboration
The radiative lifetime of the $A$$^2 \Pi_{1/2}$ (v=0) state in radium monofluoride (RaF) is measured to be 35(1) ns. The lifetime of this state and the related decay rate $\Gamma = 2.86(8) \times 10^7$$s^{-1}$ are of relevance to the laser cooling of RaF via the optically closed $A$$^2 \Pi_{1/2} \leftarrow X$$^2\Sigma_{1/2}$ transition, which makes the molecule a promising probe to search for new physics. Observation of the distribution of nuclear magnetization in a molecule
/ Wilkins, S.G. (MIT) ; Udrescu, S.M. (MIT) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M. (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Garcia Ruiz, R.F. (MIT) ; Au, M. (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Belošević, I. (TRIUMF) ; Berger, R. (Philipps U. Marburg) ; Bissell, M.L. (Manchester U.) ; Breier, A.A. (Kassel U.) ; Brinson, A.J. (MIT) et al.
Rapid progress in the experimental control and interrogation of molecules, combined with developments in precise calculations of their structure, are enabling new opportunities in the investigation of nuclear and particle physics phenomena. Molecules containing heavy, octupole-deformed nuclei such as radium are of particular interest for such studies, offering an enhanced sensitivity to the properties of fundamental particles and interactions.
