SimPixelTracks: A new tool for analyzing Patatrack pixel tracking performance /CMS Collaboration
This note introduces SimPixelTracks, a new tool for evaluating the performance of Patatrack pixel tracking in the CMS experiment. It provides simulation truth for all intermediate objects of the Patatrack algorithm and knows how those objects are treated in the actual reconstruction code. [...]

Physics performance studies of the HGCAL trigger primitive generation system /CMS Collaboration
This note presents recent developments and performance studies of the HGCAL Trigger Primitive Generation (TPG) system, with a primary focus on algorithmic strategies for assigning Module Sums and Trigger Cells or Super Trigger Cells (TCs/STCs) to Partial Trigger Towers (PTTs) in the Stage 1 of the HGCAL Backend. These strategies are designed to optimise energy reconstruction and achieve a precise, consistent mapping of detector signals to trigger primitives while respecting firmware constraints. [...]

Observation of an enhancement near the top-antitop quark threshold by ATLAS / Behr, Janna Katharina (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
In this talk, a measurement of $t\bar{t}$ production in the invariant-mass region near the pair production threshold is presented. The measurement is conducted in final states with two charged leptons and multiple jets and is based on 140 fb$^{−1}$ of proton–proton collision data collected at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector. [...]

WbWb Cross Section in the Semi-leptonic Channel / Novak, Tadej (Jozef Stefan Institute (SI)) /ATLAS Collaboration
This presentation covers differential cross-section measurements of events consistent with the $W^{+}W^{-}b\bar{b}$ final state. The analysis is based on 140 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector during Run 2 of the Large Hadron Collider (2015-2018). [...]

Measurement of the top quark Yukawa coupling from $t\bar{t}$ differential cross-section / Sinha, Supriya (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The top-quark Yukawa coupling is extracted from the distribution of the top-quark pair ($t \bar{t}$) invariant mass in proton-proton collisions using $140\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of data at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV collected in 2015-2018 by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. In the region near the production threshold, the $t \overline{t}$ invariant mass spectrum is sensitive to electroweak virtual corrections, including contributions from Higgs boson exchange, thereby providing sensitivity to the top-quark Yukawa coupling. [...]

ttWj EW and tt asymmetry EFT results / Kim, Dongwon (University of California Berkeley (US)) /ATLAS Collaboration
This presentation reports two recent ATLAS results interpreted in the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). The first is the search for electroweak production of t\bar{t}Wj This analysis provides the ATLAS constraints on the SMEFT operators \mathcal{O}{Ht} and \mathcal{O}{HQ}^{(1)}, which are among the least constrained in the top sector, and demonstrates how the inclusion of t\bar{t}Wj_{\mathrm{EW}} information helps resolve parameter degeneracies that remain when interpreting t\bar{t}Z data alone. [...]
