The latest time variation measurements with AMS / Velasco Frutos, Miguel Angel (Madrid, CIEMAT) /AMS Collaboration
Charged cosmic rays entering the solar system are affected by the interaction with the expanding turbulent solar wind and the interplanetary magnetic field. This process, known as solar modulation, introduces a time variation in the cosmic ray fluxes measured near Earth for rigidities up to a few tens of GV. [...]

Recent Experience with the CMS Data Management System / Öztürk, Hasan (CERN) ; Paparrigopoulos, Panos (CERN) ; Ardila, Andres Manrique (U. Wisconsin, Madison (main)) ; Chauhan, Rahul (CERN) ; Ellis, Katy (Rutherford Appleton Laboratory) ; Emmanouil, Christos (CERN) ; Kovalskyi, Dmytro (MIT) ; Vaandering, Eric (Fermilab) ; Voetberg, Maggie (Fermilab) ; Wightman, Andrew (U. The CMS[1] experiment manages a large-scale data infrastructure, currently handling over 200 PB of disk and 500 PB of tape storage and transferring more than 1 PB of data per day on average between various WLCG[2] sites. Utilizing Rucio[3] for high-level data management, FTS[4] for data transfers, and a variety of storage and network technologies at the sites, CMS confronts inevitable challenges due to the system’s growing scale and evolving nature. Leveraging distributed resources through high throughput analysis platforms for enhancing HEP data analyses / d’Onofrio, Adelina (INFN, Padua) ; Diotalevi, Tommaso (INFN, Padua ; Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Gravili, Francesco G (INFN, Padua ; Salento U.) ; Loffredo, Salvatore (INFN, Padua ; INFN, Naples ; Naples U.) ; Rossi, Elvira (INFN, Padua ; INFN, Naples ; Naples U.) ; Simone, Federica M (INFN, Padua ; Bari Polytechnic) ; Spisso, Bernardino (INFN, Padua) /ATLAS Collaboration ; CMS Collaboration
The analysis of data collected by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at CERN, ahead of the next phase of high-luminosity at the LHC, requires flexible and dynamic access to big amounts of data, as well as an environment capable of dynamically accessing distributed resources. An interactive high throughput platform, based on a parallel and geographically distributed backend, has been developed in the framework of the “Italian Research Center for High Performance Computing, Big Data, and Quantum Computing” (ICSC), providing experiment-agnostic resources. Study of discharges in the CMS GEM GE1/1 station with LHC beam / Calzaferri, S (INFN, Pavia) /CMS Muon Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the experiments installed there are being upgraded forthe High Luminosity LHC project that will provide a greatly enlarged data sample in the search forphysics beyond the Standard Model. During Long Shutdown 2, from 2018 to the first months of 2022,some of these upgrades were completed. [...]

Towards a GPU-enabled electron seeding algorithm in the CMS experiment / Koraka, Charis-Kleio (U. Malta) /CMS Collaboration
Electrons are one of the key particles that are detected by the CMS experiment and are reconstructed using the CMS software (CMSSW). Reconstructing electrons in CMSSW is a computational intensive task that is split into several steps, seeding being the most time consuming one. [...]

Precision Measurement of Cosmic Ray Deuterons with Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer / Delgado, Carlos (Madrid, CIEMAT) /AMS Collaboration
Deuterons are among the most abundant secondary cosmic-ray nucleu. The deuteron flux rigidity dependence provides unique information about the propagation of cosmic rays compared to heavier Li, Be and B fluxes. [...]

Extending ALICE’s GPU tracking capabilities: Towards a comprehensive accelerated barrel reconstruction / Concas, Matteo (CERN) ; Rohr, David (CERN)
During Run 3, the ALICE experiment has enhanced its two-phase data processing and reconstruction chain by integrating GPUs, a leap forward in utilizing high-performance computing at the LHC. The initial ’synchronous’ phase engages GPUs to reconstruct and compress data from the TPC detector. [...]

Leakage current of high-fluence neutron-irradiated 8" silicon sensors for the CMS Endcap Calorimeter Upgrade / CMS HGCAL Collaboration
The HL-LHC will challenge the detectors with a nearly 10-fold increase in integrated luminosity compared to the previous LHC runs combined, thus the CMS detector will be upgraded to face the higher levels of radiation and the larger amounts of collision data to be collected. [...]
