LHC transverse feedback
/ Butterworth, A (CERN) ; Höfle, W (CERN) ; Kotzian, G (CERN) ; Ojeda Sandonis, M (CERN) ; Rains, S (CERN) ; Rey, A (CERN) ; Valuch, D (CERN)
The LHC Transverse Feedback System [1], habitually called ADT has undergone
considerable modifications in LS1 aimed at improving performance and
flexibility. The new features added are summarised along with the major LS1
maintenance works. [...]

Usage of the Transverse Damper Observation Box for High Sampling Rate Transverse Position Data in the LHC
/ Carver, Lee (CERN) ; Buffat, Xavier (CERN) ; Butterworth, Andrew (CERN) ; Höfle, Wolfgang (CERN) ; Iadarola, Giovanni (CERN) ; Kotzian, Gerd (CERN) ; Li, Kevin (CERN) ; Métral, Elias (CERN) ; Ojeda Sandonís, Miguel (CERN) ; Söderén, Martin (CERN) et al.
The transverse damper observation box (ADTObsBox) is a device that makes accessible the bunch-by-bunch turn-by-turn data recorded from the pickups of the LHC transverse damper. This device can provide online transient analysis of different beam dynamics effects (tunes and damping times at injection, for example), while also under development is an online coherent instability triggering system. CERN’s Linac4 cesiated surface H$^{-}$ source
/ Lettry, J (CERN) ; Aguglia, D (CERN) ; Bertolo, S (CERN) ; Briefi, S ; Butterworth, A (CERN) ; Coutron, Y (CERN) ; Dallocchio, A (CERN) ; David, N (CERN) ; Chaudet, E (CERN) ; Fantz, U et al.
Linac4 cesiated surface H$^{-}$ sources are routinely operated for the commissioning of the CERN’s Linac4 and on an ion source test stand. Stable current of 40-50 mA are achieved but the transmission through the LEBT of 80% was below expectations and triggered additional beam simulation and characterization. [...]

Linac4 H− ion sources
/ Lettry, J (CERN) ; Aguglia, D (CERN) ; Alessi, J (RIKEN BNL) ; Andersson, P (CERN) ; Bertolo, S (CERN) ; Briefi, S (Augsburg U.) ; Butterworth, A (CERN) ; Coutron, Y (CERN) ; Dallocchio, A (CERN) ; David, N (CERN) et al.
CERN’s 160 MeV H−linear accelerator (Linac4) is a key constituent of the injector chain upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider that is being installed and commissioned. A cesiated surface ion source prototype is being tested and has delivered a beam intensity of 45 mA within an emittance of 0.3 π ⋅ mm ⋅ mrad. [...]
