Studies of beauty baryon decays to $D^0 ph^-$ and $\Lambda_c^+ h^-$ final states / LHCb collaboration
Decays of beauty baryons to the $D^0 p h^-$ and $\Lambda_c^+ h^-$ final states (where $h$ indicates a pion or a kaon) are studied using a data sample of $pp$ collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb$^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb detector. The Cabibbo-suppressed decays $\Lambda_b^0\to D^0 p K^-$ and $\Lambda_b^0\to \Lambda_c^+ K^-$ are observed and their branching fractions are measured with respect to the decays $\Lambda_b^0\to D^0 p \pi^-$ and $\Lambda_b^0\to \Lambda_c^+ \pi^-$. Study of forward Z+jet production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV / LHCb collaboration
A measurement of the $Z(\rightarrow\mu^+\mu^-)$+jet production cross-section in $pp$ collisions at a centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV is presented. The analysis is based on an integrated luminosity of $1.0\,\text{fb}^{-1}$ recorded by the LHCb experiment. [...]

Measurement of CP violation in the phase space of $B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{+} K^{-} \pi^{\pm}$ and $B^{\pm} \rightarrow \pi^{+} \pi^{-} \pi^{\pm}$ decays / LHCb collaboration
The charmless decays $B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{\pm}$ and $B^{\pm} \rightarrow \pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{\pm}$ are reconstructed in a data set, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb$^{-1}$ of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, collected by LHCb in 2011. The inclusive charge asymmetries of these modes are measured to be $A_{CP}(B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{\pm}) =-0.141 \pm 0.040 (stat) \pm 0.018 (syst) \pm 0.007 (J/\psi K^{\pm})$ and $A_{CP}(B^{\pm} \rightarrow \pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{\pm}) = 0.117 \pm 0.021 (stat) \pm 0.009 (syst) \pm 0.007 (J/\psi K^{\pm})$, where the third uncertainty is due to the CP asymmetry of the $B^{\pm} \rightarrow J/\psi K^{\pm}$ reference mode. Search for the rare decay $D^0 \to \mu^+ \mu^-$ / LHCb collaboration
A search for the rare decay $D^0 \to \mu^+ \mu^-$is performed using a data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 0.9 fb$^{-1}$, of $pp$ collisions collected at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV by the LHCb experiment. The observed number of events is consistent with the background expectations and corresponds to an upper limit of ${\cal B}(D^0 \to \mu^+ \mu^-) < 6.2(7.6) \times 10^{-9}$ at 90% (95%) confidence level. Analysis of Test-Beam data from a prototype LHCb RICH detector / Patel, Mitesh (CERN) /LHCb RICH Collaboration
A prototype of the LHCb Ring Imaging Cherenkov detector has been constructed. The prototype module contained six pre-production pixel Hybrid Photon Detectors which were read out at the full LHC speed of 40 MHz using a prototype on-detector electronics readout system. [...]

Electroweak penguin decays as probes of physics beyond the Standard Model / Patel, Mitesh (speaker) (Imperial College Sci., Tech. & Med. (GB))
Electroweak penguin decays are sensitive to new, virtual particles and therefore offer a unique window on any physics beyond the Standard Model. In the B sector, penguin decays such as B0->K*0mu+mu- give a number of measurable quantities which can be precisely predicted by theory. [...]

Measurements of the CKM angle $\gamma$ at LHCb / Patel, Mitesh (CERN)
The LHCb experiment will use a number of methods to determine the CKM unitarity triangle angle $\gamma$ from $B \to DK$ tree level processes. The LHCb sensitivity using a combination of the Gronau-London-Wyler and Atwood-Dunietz-Soni methods, and the Dalitz method is presented..
