The event brought together both local and international figures, including Reinold Geiger, Chairman and CEO of L’OCCITANE Group, along with Dr. Vranjes Firenze’s CEO, Giuseppe Colotto. They were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Florence and a variety of notable personalities from the local community. Today, I had the privilege of giving a speech at COP16, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This incredible milestone highlights six decades of invaluable data that guides so many in biodiversity conservation—including us at L’OCCITANE Group Since 2016, our partnership with IUCN has helped us develop a Biodiversity Strategy rooted in science, supporting sustainable sourcing, protecting endangered species, and regenerating ecosystems worldwide. Today, we continue to strengthen these efforts—whether through projects to protect endangered trees in Brazil or by preserving critical habitats in Indonesia.
