We are not drawing these out first. We are going to be brave. Watercolor paints. I think we've got room for like two adult chickens and some babies. So, I made a puddle of some brown and some gray. That's for the adults, yellow for the babies. This is going to be easy. We're painting the head and the body in two different sections and the head is sort of cone shaped. Then, the body comes off of that into the tail and then curves around back up to the chest. I decided I wanted mine a little darker so I added some more paint and then I did the little parts that connect the legs. I think it looks like sweatpants. It's chicken sweatpants. This one's going to be like down like she's she's pecking at the ground. We're going to paint this one very similarly to the other one in two separate parts where the head is still the cone shape and then it comes straight off of that in a line to the tail. You're just going to angle this one more up into the air. Then, curve it back around to form the chest and of course, we can't forget the sweatpants. The babies are just blobs. They're little fluffy, little round fluff fluff balls. There's a head in the fluff somewhere. I'm sure those instructions were very helpful to you. It's a blob. It's a little round blob and you make sort of a tail but not exactly just one little pokey part for the tail and one little bump for that head. Let the little chickies dry. I'm going to use pen and colored pencil to add most of the details but I do want to use watercolor for the grass 'cuz we did that here and here. Cohesiveness. The grass is self-explanatory. Once you get to the face, I used a red colored pencil because I think it's easier. You're going to add that little bit of red to the top of the head to be the comb and then a little bit on the face for the mask and a little part hanging down for the waddle. Are you proud of me? I looked up the parts. I looked up the parts so you wouldn't have to tell me. The steps are going to be the same for the one that's facing down and how you finish it out is really up to you. I just kind of outlined it and added some details on the and then of course the little chicken feet. And the babies are really simple. You just add a wing and a beak and an eye and you get to decide like which way they're looking and this one is definitely looking at his mom. This guy is food focused which I also appreciate. It's so cute. It's so so cute. I think I know how I want to finish it out. One more. One more video and we will we will finish the page. I do love the chickens.

The Creative Boot Camp will be back in the next video, but let's take a little break to do something simple and fun. Think of it like a little art palette cleanser! I think this would also look super cute using the same shape of fish but just different colors, or all the same color but different shapes! In this video I used a size 3 quill brush, my mini sketchbook, and my Unicorn Food Watercolors. | Lacey Walker

Allowing myself to get absorbed in a process or play really helps me recenter. If you're feeling stressed try something like this that's low pressure and methodical to get yourself into a flow state, it might help the stress melt away! In this video I am using my Big Ideas sketchbook, my size 12 wONEderbrush, and a variety of paints. | Lacey Walker
59K views · 13K reactions | Reconnect with your inner child! Not only is this just fun to do but it's also a fun way to practice getting the watercolor bleeding and blending effects you want! Little things like this we're part of how i really got to know how to load my brush and get coul colors to cover the page in a way I like. In this video i used a size 3 quill brush, canson paper for the collage elements, in my Big Ideas sketchbook, colors from my dream palette, scissors, and craft glue. What's your favorite Halloween candy? I'm partial to KitKats. | Lacey Walker
