Christine Bruniau reproduces on fabric images of ferns, moss, cherry trees in flower, grass and skies, and snow. “My vocabulary is images,” she says, explaining her poetics. It was during a stay in Japan in the 1990s that the artist found her graphic way fed with the Japanese aesthetic and respect for the client. Today, in the heart of Basque country, the artist develops her vegetal imaginings through all types of media and formats.
