45min Wash and soak 1/4 cup Gobindobhog rice for 30 minutes. Take 1 litre full fat milk in a heavy bottom pot. Let it boil. Take 1/2 cup milk in a bowl. Add few saffron strands to the milk. Keep aside. Add soaked rice. Cook until rice is soft and mushy. Keep stirring in between. Add the prepared saffron milk and 5-6 tbsp sugar. Mix well. Cook until the Kheer thickens. Keep stirring in between. Add 1 tsp cardamom powder. Add chopped dry fruits and nuts. Mix well. Serve warm or chilled. Keep following
