Yesterday i finished painting this t-shirt and I really love how it turned out! I painted my sketch with chalk and then painted over it with bleach until I liked the way it looks.

We (my daughter and I) have started another new hobby of bleaching shirts. I scoured Pinterest for tutorials and ideas. Then we just went for it. We have been making shirts for our immediate family and now we have started on our Christmas gifts. We have found that black and darker shirts work best. Here are many of the (successful) shirts we have created.

When you paint fabric with bleach, using different ratios of bleach to water gives unique effects for depth. I tested different strengths so you can see how they all compare to each other
