This IKEA hack is perfect for 8 foot or 9 foot ceilings. The total combination of HAVSTA and BILLY bookcases used here comes to 94.5 inches. Add a bit of trim at the top to touch the ceiling and you have the look of custom built-in bookcases for much less!

Even more pleased with the fact that all of these @ikeauk Havsta units were second hand - so it’s a double green ♻️💚. Secondhand marketplaces are your friend for pre-loved (and sometimes even still in the box!) ikea furniture. The journey of this project also led me to their Circular Hub where you can get reduced price stuff directly from Ikea!!
