Liz | Teacher inspo & tips on Instagram: "Save this idea for next time you don’t want to use your voice to quiet your kids down and get their attention. This idea actually came from a professor of mine. He said it helps get the student’s attention because they want to join in and be the ones to follow the pattern. One way he suggested to use it is when you come together as a group, then you can have a student start the pattern. Whoever comes to the circle first, can start the pattern first. It motivates the kids to transition quickly and quietly. What are some other ways you like to do an attention getter without using your voice? #attention #classroom #classroompinspirations #classroomideas #classroommanagement #classroommanagementstrategies #iteach #iteachtoo #secondgrade"

Such a fun ice breaker that encourages kids to get their wiggles out and get ready to learn. Have you tried it? What ages? Let me know in the comments what your students thought… 🫶"
MusicForKiddos.com on Instagram: "Music adds structure to this popular chant — and it really needs it! You can go straight to the next kid without any verbal instructions 🙌🎶☀️. I didn’t write the chant (Hickelty pickelty bumble bee… etc.) but I did add a melody and the fun ways to say the name at the end. I’m not sure who wrote the original chant — please let me know if you do! (Can you believe it’s been a year since the original reel went viral? Thanks so much for your support!) Have you tried this one?"
Leah Tipton | Cute Early Childhood Resources on Instagram: "This greeting has been a favorite this year! It’s great for developing fine motor skills too. I put letters on the clothespins to add some phonics. Students identify the letter and come up with a word that starts with that letter while we wait for the helper to pass out the clothes pins! So fun and engaging! #Kindergarten #iteachkinder #tptresources #earlychildhoodeducation #kindergartenactivities #morningmeetingactivity #morninggreeting #greetingideas #sel #goodmorning #finemotordevelopment #finemotorskillsactivities #ece #earlychildhood"
